My Cobra

This car to me is basically the definition of bringing your visions to life. I had this car pictured in my head for years. It was my “attainable” dream car at the time. April 8, 2014 I started my journey with this car.

The main thing I really wanted for this car was a custom red leather seats. For those that are not familiar with these cars, they only come in a dark charcoal color seat, with alcantara centers. I spent a few nights sketching some ideas, talked with an upholsterer and he executed perfectly.

The next idea I had was to vertically mount a set of Gen 2 CTS-V brakes on this car. I turned to the professionals for this one. A good friend of mine works in the prototyping industry and he had the skills to make this happen. The car finally felt like it could slow itself down.

Between those big projects and a bunch of little details, this car gained a huge following online and to this day I still receive questions, shares and comments about it. I sold the car in September of 2019 to really focus on some new adventures. Surprisingly, I don’t miss it, but I do miss ‘having’ a fun car. Another one will come along someday, until then, enjoy!
